CLASSES
At NAPA we offer classes in Drama and Musical Theatre. In each class we not only encourage students to learn performance skills, but also to push themselves to try new things and gain confidence in a fun and friendly environment. Any adults wishing to study with us are invited to register to take part in our adult acting class and are free to audition for certain productions. We run classes every Saturday, even over holiday weekends, apart from two weeks at Christmas and over Summer, during which time we offer our Summer Workshop. Please note that due to changes in education policy and insurance we are unable to take students with Autism or other special educational needs.
DRAMA
We have two classes. Juniors for 7-12yrs at 11am-1pm and Seniors for 12-18yrs from 9am-11am. In these classes students study various acting techniques and skills as well as directing, physical theatre and script creation.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Musical theatre is divided into two classes; Juniors 9am-11am and Seniors 1pm-3pm. In these classes students learn the skills of acting, singing and dancing and how to combine them.
PRIVATE TUITION
We offer private drama lessons for 7 years - adult. These lessons are 30 minutes in length and can be weekly or tailored to fit your availability. Private lessons are charged at £12.50 and these can be used as performance exam or audition preparation, or just for fun.
PRODUCTIONS
Productions vary during the year and are always auditioned for. Each show will be cast depending on age, cast size and style of production. The shows have a set show fee and this also varies depending on rehearsal length and cast size. 'LLTTLE STARS' INFANT'S CLASS
We also offer our 'Little Stars' class for children aged 4-6yrs. They will be able to take part in dancing, singing and acting and have lots of fun. The class runs from 1pm-2.30pm every week.
